Project Abstracts:

For an international pharmaceutical company, participated in the planning and development stages of the "Select Test" project for billing compliance.  Created design specs and functional specs and worked with team members to analyze, design and code new development (95%) and maintenance (5%) application programs.  Also worked closely with QA and business analysts to create and execute acceptance test plans.  Utilized COBOL, CICS, TSO/ISPF, VSAM/VSAM utilities, JCL, EXPEDITOR, DB2, SQL, MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE, and FILE AID to complete this project.

Participated in the design of electronic Provider Billing and Remittance Third Party insurance carrier programs.  Was responsible for a large portion of the development of host programs to facilitate billing and subsequent remittance processing.  Participated in the unit, systems and acceptance testing and implementation of the Remittance piece of this project.

For another international pharmaceutical company, was responsible for enhancements and support of various Sales Operations applications and reporting functions for a large Order Entry system.  Duties included providing sales figures, forecasts, and other information pertinent to sales of Oncology and Advanced Therapeutic drugs.  These programs accessed the DB2 database utilizing update, add, delete, and read capabilities.  All work was performed in an IBM 3090 environment utilizing COBOL, EASYTRIEVE, DB2, SQL, PLATINUM utilities, SPUFI, TSO and JCL.
